Día del Libro

 

Hoy es el Día del Libro, 23 de abril. Hicimos muchas actividades: los alumnos de sexto contaron historias, la biblioteca dio un premio a los alumnos que leyeron más libros este curso y a la clase que más libros ha leído (1º). Estudiantes del Instituto José María Fernández se disfrazaron como personajes de cuentos populares infantiles y leyeron cuentos a los niños. Los cuentos fueron: La Sirenita, El Patito Feo, Hansel y Gretel, Peter Pan y La Ratita Presumida. Los niños pudieron pintarse la cara como los personajes de las historias. Platero fue pintado en el patio para conmemorar el centenario de su publicación. Cada estudiante leyó y coloreó la siguiente ficha sobre Platero.

                                              

Today is Book Day, April 23rd. Today we did many activities: the pupils in sixth grade told stories, the library gave a prize to the children who read the most this year and to the class that read the most books (first grade) Students from the José María Fernández high school dressed up as characters from popular children's stories and read tales to the children. The stories included: The Little Mermaid, The Ugly Duckling, Hanzel and Gretel, Peter Pan and The Vain Little Mouse. The children were able to get  their faces painted like the characters from the stories. 

Platero was painted in the courtyard to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the release of Platero. Each student read and coloured a worksheet about Platero.

Visiting the town

Today first level pupils have visiting the town. We can see the museum, the town hall, some churches, several shops, the bullring... Also, we have bought a book in the book fair for our class. Finally, we have met the mayor.

Hoy los alumnos de primero han visitado la ciudad. Hemos visto el museo, el ayuntamiento, algunas iglesias, varias tiendas, la plaza de toros... Además, hemos comprado un libro en la feria del libro para nuestra clase. Finalmente, hemos conocido al alcalde.

THE SCHOOL OF MUSIC

Yesterday  children from 2 nd, 3 rd and  4 th level  went to the Torcal theatre.They listened to music and teachers from Antequera school of music encouraged them to learn to play an instrument in their school.

Ayer los niños de 2º, 3º y 4º fueron al teatro Torcal. Allí escucharon música y los profesores del conservatorio de Antequera les animaron a aprender a tocar un instrumento en su escuela.

Towns and villages

El alumnado de primero ha hecho unos proyectos sobre ciudades y pueblos. Han usado plastilina, rotuladores y su imaginación. ¡Disfrutad las fotos y vídeos de la exposición!
