Consejos para practicar tu inglés durante las vacaciones

Es importante que los niños practiquen lo que han aprendido durante el curso. En casa pueden repasar algunos de los contenidos.

1. Ver la televisión en inglés. Por ejemplo: Clan TV. 
2. Escuchar canciones en inglés.
3. Revisar el Activity Book de inglés, el libro de Conocimiento del Medio y escuchar sus CDs.
4. Visitar los enlaces que aquí dejamos.

Tips for practicing your English during the Holidays

It's important that the children practice the things they have learned throughout the school year. At home they have the opportunity to review some of the content.

1. Watch  TV in English. For example: Clan TV.
2. Listen to songs in English.
3. Review your English Activity Book, Science Book and listen to the CDs.
4. Visit the links.

"A healthy city"

Antequera local government  announced few days ago a contest for children.

The contest purpose was prevent drugs consumption.

The 3rd level children done some drawings with slogans about "A healthy city".

And two of these children have became finalist.

On these photos you can see their diplomas and the happy girls with their presents.

El Ayuntamiento de Antequera anunció hace unos días un concurso para niños.

El propósito del concurso era prevenir el consumo de drogas.

Los niños de 3º hicieron algunos dibujos con slogans sobre "Una ciudad saludable".

Y dos de estos niñas han sido finalistas.

En estas fotos podéis ver sus diplomas y las contentas niñas con sus regalos.

  

"Cueva de Menga" and "Cueva de Viera"

Last  5th of June there was an excursion for painting some monuments in our city. The chosen places were "Cueva de Menga" and "Cueva de Viera".

In the morning, after a short walk, children from 3rd to 6th level arrived and they watched a film explaining how were built these prehistoric monuments.

Then they had breakfast and they started to paint "La Cueva de Menga".

It was a good  opportunity to know another monument in our city.

El pasado 5 de junio hubo una  excursión para pintar algunos monumentos de nuestra ciudad. El lugar elegido fueron las cuevas de Menga  y  de Viera.

Por la mañana, después de un corto paseo, los niños de 3º a 6º nivel llegaron y vieron una película explicativa sobre la construcción de estos monumentos prehistóricos.

Luego desayunaron y empezaron a pintar "La cueva de Menga".

Fue una buena oportunidad para conocer otro monumento de nuestra ciudad.

Travelling and communication

Algunos alumnos de primero han realizado trabajos voluntarios sobre  "los medios de transporte y comunicación" Aquí, podemos ver varias fotos.

KATIE : THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

Katie, our assistant of conversation, has finished her stay in our school.
Last friday was her last day and children were sad because they love her a lot.

Katie, we will miss you!!

Katie, nuestra asistente de conversación, ha terminado su estancia en nuestro colegio.
El pasado viernes fue su último día y los niños estaban tristes porque la quieren mucho.

¡Katie, te echaremos de menos!

THE ZOO

Last tuesday children from 3rd  and 4th levels did  an excursion.
They visited Fuengirola zoo where they saw  animals from different continents and they learnt a lot of things about  them.
Later, at lunch time, they went to "El parque de la paloma", there they had lunch and they played on the swings.

El pasado martes los niños de los cursos 3º y 4º hicieron una excursión.
Ellos visitaron el zoo de Fuengirola donde vieron animales de diferentes continentes y aprendieron un montón de cosas sobre ellos.
Más tarde, a la hora del almuerzo, ellos fueron al "Parque de la paloma", allí comieron y se montaron en los columpios.
